CLOTH WIPES: My cloth wipes are two-ply and serged with matching color thread, so very very durable to last you through lots and lots of washes. They are all approx 8x8 and fit perfectly into your baby wipe container. Most are flannel/flannel, but some will be a combination of flannel and a soft fleecy stay dry material that glides more easily on baby's bum. Made of new and upcycle flannel. They will be $1 each. Buy 30, get an extra 10 free. As always, I will weigh and calculate the absolute cheapest way to ship. Cloth wipe solution: Here is a question that I get often. Everyone you ask and everywhere you look, you will receive a different answer. I can only speak for myself and what works for me. I store mine wet in a warmer. I tried just water and it got mildew after a day. Now I do water, a bit of baby soap, baby oil, and tea tree oil(antimicrobial and fights mildew) and I pour it over my wipes. Works well for us. FLEECE SOAKERS: For those who don't know, fleece (and also wool) is an excellent diaper cover for cloth diapers and an excellent precaution for disposable diapers or potty training kiddos at night as well! It is very breathable and also water resistant. I typically change mine out every two to three diaper changes and toss the fleece in with the regular laundry. No special care is needed for the fleece and fabric softener actually furthers it's effectiveness as a water repellent diaper cover. These are all a standard $9 each. Add $1 for decorative stitching or licensed characters. Buy 6 at once, get the 7th free! I have also finally perfected my pattern for soakers and am extremely pleased with the new fit! They seem to fit any fitted I try them with. Thank you for your support. Also, pants coming very soon! NEW OPTION: I am adding sports team appliqued fleece and wool soakers and soaker longies to my portfolio. Fleece soakers with this option will be $15 and up depending on the level of difficulty of the emblem. Wool appliqued soakers will be $30 and wool appliqued soaker longies $45. WOOL COVERS: Wool is an amazing fiber! It's self-cleaning for the most part, can absorb up to 30% of its weight in liquid, is water resistant, has the ability to keep you warm even when it's wet, and has antibacterial properties! These features make it my personal #1 choice for a cloth diaper cover, especially for night time. All of my wool is recycled, washed and felted by me, and assembled once you have chosen your color, style, and size. All wool soaker apparel will have a very very thick very felted extra soaker pad hidden inside on the wetzone. You will still need to take proper care of your woolies for them to function properly. Longies that are regular pants style will be a standard $20 and soaker longies with a soaker body and extra felted soaker pad sewn into the wetzone will be $35 each for any size. I strongly suggest the soaker longies for a heavy wetter. Soakers will be a standard $20 each for any size. I will lanolize it for you for $2.50 if preferred prior to shipping. Also, I get a lot of questions regarding lanolizing your woolies. I cannot speak for everyone else and I don't really believe there is a right or a wrong way to do it. I will share how I personally do it with luck.:
I have tried several ways and settled on bringing water to a boil, spooning out however much lanolin I think I need and sticking the spoon into the water to melt the lanolin and adding the Ecover. Once lanolin has melted off the spoon I stir until I'm satisfied it is all dissolved and then pour it into a prepared sink full of room temperature water and stir to mix, then add wool and soak for 30 minutes to overnight. Pull out and squeeze excess water out. DO NOT WRING OR TWIST. Lay flat on towel, roll up in towel, and stand on it to remove more water. Lay flat to dry. Drying normally takes about two days.
