Ajepomaa Oklah of ajePomaa Design Gallery graduated with honors in fashion design and merchandising from LaSalle College of the Arts, Singapore. She also had fashion merchandising and production experience with Burgandy Singapore, Anik , Montmarte and Searle all in New York City. AjePomaa started her fashion career in 2005 and founded ajePomaa Design Gallery on February 2010. She has since mantain
ed her style thoughout the international and Ghanaian fashion scene. She has designed her own global language of fashion through her afrothentic roots. She has worked at top companies such as Vlisco as the Group Visual Merchandising Manager and currently runs AjePomaa Gallery and it’s diffusion line studioAG Ghana
ajePomaa Design Gallery designs reflect edge, humour and optimism which she achieves through her extraordinary use of colors, prints and shapes as the basis for the world she has created. From this, Ajepomaa Oklah has a unique component in all of her works such as her origami textile treatments by her Asian influence through classic silhouettes. Her fabrics are sustainably sourced on the local marketplace from small fabric shops and local artisans to help boost and bring their exceptional creative talents to life. ajePomaa Design Gallery is synonymous with style.
