Our Story
Bitsytrunk Children’s Wear is an authentic Ghanaian brand for quality children’s clothing and photo outfits. It was founded in 2019 by Sandra Akosua Amponsah Baidoo (Nee Gyampoh). As a new mother taking time off active corporate work to nurture her new son, she reignited her interest in crochet as a hobby. She later grew this into a small business of making baby clothes and accessories and women’s fashion pieces from crochet and beading. In 2019, she took a course in Fashion Design & Illustration at Riohs Originate in Ghana in order to elevate the business to a full Children’s Clothing Brand. Her’s however is a surprise love child from a combination of talent from her mother who was a seamstress and business owner in the 90’s and God’s divine direction.
Our aim at Bitsytrunk is to provide unique, stylish and dazzling outfits for children made from a combination of authentic African wax prints, the intricate craftsmanship of crochet and other beautiful fabrics from around the world. Currently an online boutique only, it is our vision to grow into a leading Ghanaian retail brand for quality and stylish children’s clothing whiles providing employment for the Ghanaian population in our various sections.
