The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development has this afternoon, invited me to share my experiences as an Entrepreneur with the students. The saying that 'if you want to go far, go together" resonates so well with me. Together we will succeed in building an industrialised nation.

Courtesy call on the king of the Ashanti empire Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, with my fellow Members of the Governing Council of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, Kumasi.
*I couldn't help but slip off my mask for a few seconds for this memorable photo🤷🏾‍♀️. It was humbling and yet soul satisfying to hear Otumfuo mention my name and my work as he called for investment in Skills Training...it's been over 4 decades of my helping to build a Fashion, Garments and Textiles industry in Ghana. Sending my love to my past students who have made me the 'proud Maa' and to the young ones who say I inspire them "I wish you success in all your endeavours"

This to me is a greater call to service, to contribute my quota to 'conversations' that will help grow businesses and generate jobs in Ghana 🇬🇭.

"Reach out and touch Somebody's Hands, and make this world a better place if you can"...a Diana Ross song with such a powerful message! especially in these times. I felt the strong urge to do just that from the 24th into the 25th...and was amazed at how quickly the time went, but more importantly how some gestures may seem insignificant to us at times; but we will be amazed at the difference these make to so many out there, 'who are hurting'; and what joy these acts bring back to us. Someone out there needs you to help them feel the love of God;... in these times❤
