Why Dutch Komenda pay homage to the Paramount Chief of Edna Traditional Area.

During that era, all the villages within Eguafo territory were under Eguafo. People of Kanka were comfortable living on a very small piece of land in the Eguafo Kingdom and didn't want strangers to mingle with them. The people of Kanka became very worried and wild when they got the news that, Komeh I have been given a very large land by Nana Abo Takyi I after killing Ekyi the monster.
This made them vowed not to pay homage to the Chief of Eguafo but rather decided to pay homage to Nana Kwaa Amankwaa II (1450-1475) the then Chief of Elmina.
