I've observed that the joy this week stemmed from pattern drafting, and now my students understand why they don't need to waste three years learning fashion design.

The speed and comprehension of the process have significantly improved. I'm sure some of them are reflecting on how they might have utilized their time differently before I took over.

I told them, 'You appreciate my teaching because you've experienced the inefficiency of the past 6 to 12 months.'

I look forward to sharing their progress when they start their first project next month.
