On the 3rd day of our official visit to the Kingdom of Netherlands, we visited Delft University of Technology (TuDelft). This visit highlights the growing collaboration between Ghana and the Netherlands in innovation and sustainable agriculture, featuring an innovation market where Dutch companies in the seed, water, and fertilizer sectors showcased solutions adaptable to Ghana’s agricultural needs. Last week i was in Ho, Keta and Bimbila. This week, we are in the Hague, Netherlands to seal strategic partnerships with respect to quality high yielding vegetable seeds to enhance our all year round farming policy in Ghana. Next week I'm headed to Sankori,Dormaa, Sampa and Sisalla East and West to meet farmers and strategize for this new farming season. I pray for strength, wisdom, courage and understanding..... Ghana will Prosper!.

Following the MoU signed on 28 May 2025, Ghana and the Netherlands have strengthened their partnership through an addendum under the Food and Agriculture Working Group, focusing on the vegetable seed sector. Together with Silvo Erkens, Minister of Food Security, Fisheries and Horticulture of the Netherlands, we signed the addendum in the Hague yesterday.
The collaboration will enhance sustainable agriculture and food security by strengthening seed systems, improving access to quality seeds, and promoting research, innovation, and partnerships. On the invitation of the Kingdom of Netherlands, the 3 day working visit continues today with visits to research institutions, fertilizer and major seeds producers across the country.

Spent my Easter Monday picnic with 3 Catholic Churches in my beloved Ayawaso West constituency. St Thomas Aquinas, Divine Mercy and the host Mary Mother Of Good Counsel Church.

Easter is about love and giving. I spend the last few days visiting several businesses in my beloved Ayawaso West to see how their sales are doing. I also gifted brand new deep freezers and some capital to several women in the constituency to aid in their business.

I had a fruitful visit from the Israeli ambassador to Ghana H.E. Roey Gilad in my Office at the Ministry of Agriculture yesterday. Our discussions focused on Research and Development in Agriculture as well as resuming internship opportunities for Ghanaian students in Israel.

On behalf of my boss the Minister of food and Agriculture, i answered questions from colleague Mp's on the floor of parliament yesterday. I answered questions from irrigation, to farm service centers to Mechanization as well as farm imputs. We remain accountable to the good people of Ghana as we work round the clock to move this country's agriculture to the next stage of dominance on the African continent.

Next week Saturday, my boss Hon. Eric Opoku MP and I will be in Afram Plains together with President John Mahama to cut the sod for the farm service centers.
