You ever come across a packaging design that makes your designer instincts scream? 😅
That was my first reaction when I saw the initial label for MERC Multipurpose Liquid Soap. It lacked structure, balance, and that fresh, clean appeal you’d expect from a liquid soap brand. In short — it wasn’t doing justice to the product’s potential.

So, I decided to take on a complete rebranding challenge — to transform MERC into a visually appealing, market-ready brand that could confidently stand on both local and international shelves.

💡 Project Goal

To improve the visual outlook of the packaging and create a lasting first impression that influences consumer purchase decisions.

🎨 Creative Direction

My focus was on developing a clean, fresh, and modern packaging identity that reflects trust, quality, and clarity.
I worked on:

Simplifying the label for better hierarchy and flow.

Introducing modern typography for readability.

Curating color tones that evoke freshness and cleanliness.

Aligning the design with both household and general consumer expectations.

✨ The Outcome

The result? A revitalized design that instantly stands out — clean, balanced, and visually refreshing.
The new MERC packaging doesn’t just look good; it tells a story of renewal, trust, and modern appeal.

It’s amazing how a thoughtful rebrand can completely change how a product is perceived. Good design truly has the power to influence decisions and shape brand identity.
