Για 10η συνεχή χρονιά, η Σύρος υποδέχεται το Φεστιβάλ Ρεμπέτικου «Η Σύρα του Μάρκου Βαμβακάρη», από τις 26 έως τις 29 Αυγούστου 2026.🪕

Για τέσσερις ημέρες, το νησί μετατρέπεται σε σημείο συνάντησης για το ρεμπέτικο, με συναυλίες, αφιερώματα και δράσεις που αναδεικνύουν την ιστορία και την αυθεντικότητα του είδους, στον τόπο που γέννησε τον Μάρκο Βαμβακάρη.

Ένα τετραήμερο αφιερωμένο στη μουσική, την παράδοση και την πολιτιστική ταυτότητα της Σύρου.🎶

For four days, the island becomes a meeting point for rebetiko music, with concerts, tributes, and cultural events that highlight the history and authenticity of the genre, in the birthplace of Markos Vamvakaris.

Over the holidays, I found myself reflecting on Kalimera—its beginnings, its journey, the people, and the place it calls home. Since 1979, Kalimera has been welcoming visitors to Galissas, first greeting the earliest travelers to the area and continuing to do so today with the same warmth and sincerity. 💙

From the very beginning, Kalimera has been about more than a shop. It has always been about hospitality, care, and connection—offering a friendly welcome to those discovering Galissas, and a familiar place for those who return year after year. My husband and I are proud to carry this forward, building on the values that shaped Kalimera and continuing to serve visitors from near and far.

This past year has been one of reflection and gratitude, honoring the foundations on which Kalimera was built and the enduring spirit behind it. That spirit continues to guide us, woven into every interaction and every shared moment.

We are deeply thankful to our community, our visitors, and everyone who has been part of Kalimera’s story over the years.

Here’s to 2026—to new faces, returning friends, and many more memories made in Galissas, one “kalimera” at a time. 💙
