Take a look at this amazing cultural costume we made for our Miss St. Thomas Carnival Queen contestant inspired by their local basketry and craft.

This piece was made right here in Guyana with the support of local indigenous crafts women who worked tirelessly to make many of the craft items presented in this ensemble. It also incorporates crotched flowers and leaves carefully placed between the craft items and ruffles made of the USVI territorial maddrass. It was truly an honor to design this piece.

Take a look at this amazing cultural costume we made for our Miss St. Thomas Carnival Queen contestant inspired by their local basketry and craft.

This piece was made right here in Guyana with the support of local indigenous crafts women who worked tirelessly to make many of the craft items presented in this ensemble.
