The Armoury was established in Hong Kong in 2010 by Alan See, Ethan Newton and Mark Cho, born from our passion for classic styling and interest in the unique stories behind well-crafted men’s products. It is our response to today's trend of insubstantial products masked by expensive advertising. We strive to find companies, factories, workshops and craftsmen dedicated to their product and craft. W

e are selective with who we choose as our artisans and aim to work closely with them in partnership. As a result, we sell only products that The Armoury can be proud to represent – products made with quality craftsmanship, outstanding design and timeless style. We do this because we love classic menswear and we hope to share this passion with others.

Navy tailoring usually relies on crisp wool to keep its shape, but silk operates under entirely different rules.

Here, Joey wears an all-silk study in subtle luxury: our MTM navy suit by Ring Jacket, cut in a soft silk that trades rigid structure for a gentle, easy slouch. Paired with a matte white silk shirt, playing with varying sheens keeps the combination looking rich rather than glossy, while feeling impossibly light on the body.

The visual mechanics come down to texture management across the same fiber. A Kenji Kaga hand-fringed silk scarf bridges the gap between dark suit and pale shirt, adding geometric warmth and softness to the neckline. There is a quiet dignity to summer dressing that is easily lost to the heat. We often reach for linen, only to find its crispness gone before lunch, leaving us in a state of wrinkled defeat.

I was recommended Jun many years ago by a very elegantly dressed colleague at Drake's who ran the Korean part of the business at the time. I later found out that Jun trained in Naples under the same master many years ago alongside the Ueki-san, another tailor I greatly admire who founded Ciccio in Japan. It has been two years since my first commission with Jun and his garments have a special place in my wardrobe. They feel perfectly balanced and exceedingly comfortable as you would expect from an experienced tailor with a Neapolitan background. In details, Jun has a craftsman's soul and his work is delicate and fine. In style, a Korean eye for rakishness conjuring Italy in the 1960's and the stars that inhabited its Golden Age of cinema.

We are honoured to host Sartoria Jun for a trunk show at The Armoury on July 10 - 11, 2026.

Jun began his tailoring journey in Korea in 2004, later refining his craft in Naples under the legendary Antonio Pascariello — mentor to Noriyuki Ueki of Ciccio. Since founding Sartoria Napoletana in Seoul in 2013, he has set new standards for bespoke tailoring in the region.

Rooted in Neapolitan tradition yet shaped by his own vision, Jun’s work blends Italian romanticism with Korean sensibility — creating garments that harmonize with the wearer’s body and lifestyle.
