The customer chose a light pink fine-striped fabric from Thomas Mason, one of England's most well-known heritage shirting mills, and paired it with the classic white collar and cuffs.

The late nineteenth century is when the white collar and white cuffs first appeared. Since collars and cuffs were the parts of a shirt that were most likely to get worn out and stained at the time, they were made separately in white fabric for simpler replacement and cleaning. Over the decades, the white-collar-and-cuff combination has become one of the most timeless and enduring styles in classic business shirting, favored by professionals worldwide.
