Vintage Ivy

In the 1950s and 60s, a concert series known as “Jazz Goes to College” began bringing jazz musicians to university campuses across the United States. Performances moved into college auditoriums and theatres, creating a subtle meeting point between jazz and college culture.
The musicians' outfits were no longer theatrical or lavish. Instead, it resembled the students' everyday style: white shirts, striped ties, high-waisted trousers, sometimes with sleeves casually rolled up.
This clean and effortless look embodied Ivy Style, the defining aesthetic of American campus life at the time.
The Vintage Ivy shirt collection captures the essence of that moment, when campus culture and jazz were perfectly combined.
Simple,
yet timeless.
