They marched.
They carried.
They worked.
May 1st has always been about labour —
the visible kind, the collective kind, the one that fills the streets.
But beyond the banners and uniforms,
there has always been another rhythm.
Quieter. Repetitive. Constant.
Work that happens behind closed doors,
in kitchens, between shelves,
in the small, daily rituals that keep everything moving.
Often unseen.
Often unnamed.
Today, we celebrate all forms of labour —
the ones that are recognized,
and the ones that are simply expected.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner,
we’re also celebrating mothers —
and the quiet, everyday work they do.
Our Mother’s Day gift cards are now available with 20% off.
And last but not least,
today we celebrate rest too —
the pause that makes everything else possible.
