M&A: Anywhere in Lower Manhattan, below 14th street. It feels like our youthful energy, and we feel like we’re constantly being inspired there.

SHARED ROOTS
M: As an OG New Yorker, Amanda taught me a higher level of pride, manners and respect.
A: Milan grew up in Massachusetts, where she was exposed to different food cultures. She introduced me to new cuisines and pushed me to try new things.

BEST MEMORY
M&A: Meals and music that we’ve shared together. Food holds a lot of memories and love. One of our first dates was a Masego concert in New York. Alot of R&B music, we were definitely trying to set the mood.

DREAM CITY
Without a doubt, New York or Tokyo. New York has this igniting hustle-and-bustle energy, I feel so ambitious and creative when I’m there.

TRAVEL ESSENTIAL
Definitely a hat, or five. I feel like a hat spices up any outfit, especially when I’m having a bad hair day.

TRANSIT SOUNDTRACK
I have a playlist filled with a mix of melancholic, experimental electronic music. It’s perfect for riding a bike over the Williamsburg bridge.
