2021, nobody was travelling. Borders were closed, flights were grounded, and the longing for somewhere else was something most of us just quietly carried.

Amazing Thailand came to us wanting to send their giveaway winners something that felt like travel, even when travel wasn’t possible. Not just a prize, but a feeling, a promise.

So we built a suitcase. Vintage-style hardbox, travel stickers, a luggage tag with signature pink and yellow on it. Inside are necessities, not just for travel, but also the pandemic. Also, a postcard from Bangkok, from a place that was already waiting for them.

Even the smallest gesture can carry a story.

Two things. One intention.

A teapot, a tea storage, and three cups for the conversations ahead. Ten ang pao for the fortune that follows. A rigid box dressed in lotus, tied shut in red.

And on each one, a name.

Because when you’re gifting to the people who matter to your business, the least you can do is make sure they know you knew exactly who they were.

This is a corporate CNY gifting project, for a company that wanted their clients to feel considered, not just remembered.

Lunar New Year gifting can be refined, not repetitive.

“What actually happens before the hamper exists.”

Most people see the finished box. We thought it was worth showing what comes before it.

Every project starts with questions, not products. Then comes the concept, the design, the sourcing, the assembly. Each step shaped around one brief — make sure it feels exactly right for this specific moment and this specific person.

It takes longer than ordering from a catalogue. That’s the whole point.
