A Legacy Continued:

Remembering Mr. Thana Singham and Mr. Karunanidhi
KB Menon Tailors mourns the loss of two extraordinary individuals who shaped our history and our craft.
Within the span of just 46 days, our hearts have been heavy as we said goodbye to two pillars who defined the very essence of KB Menon Tailors.
On February 7th, we lost Mr. Thana Singham, affectionately known by our team as "Big Boss." Since taking the helm in 2006, he dedicated his life to sustaining our legacy. He was a rare leader—soft-spoken and kind, yet stern in his pursuit of excellence. He was always there for us, offering a helping hand or moral support, which is why so many of our staff have stayed for decades. Even after his retirement in 2024, his heart never left the shop; he visited often to check on the business and, more importantly, on the wellbeing of his people. His leadership was defined by a deep concern for the people behind the brand, ensuring that KB Menon felt like a family rather than just a business.
March 25th, we lost Mr. Karunanidhi, our master cutter of 51 years, was the artisan who brought our garments to life. Known to many as a "magician," he refused to let physical challenges limit his craft. His dedication to customer satisfaction was legendary, and his role as a mentor to our tailoring team has left an indelible mark on our standards of quality.
He was the face of KB Menon—always greeting clients with a wide smile and a "can-do" spirit, no matter how complex the task. He wasn't just a master tailor; he was a teacher who shared his wisdom and skills generously with us all.
While we navigate this difficult time, our mission remains unchanged. We will honor their memory by maintaining the high standards of service and craftsmanship that they spent their lives perfecting.
Though they are gone, their influence remains in every stitch we sew and every customer we greet. We continue their journey with pride, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
This photo of both of them was the last picture they have together and the last time they were in KB Menon Tailors. It was taken on 6th of December 2025 during the visit of His Execellency the High Commissioner of India to KB Menon Tailors.
They will be missed, but never forgotten
May their soul attain Mokhsha. Om Shanti.
Sincerely,
Team KB Menon Tailors, Sentul
