Well, folks, this lovely young gentleman is Benjamin from France, who found us through a recommendation from one of our wonderful customers.

Benjamin is hiking across Ireland from Cork to Derry, and today is the sixth day of his journey. His backpack needed a bit of TLC, so he called into our workshop.

After chatting with him, we found him incredibly inspiring. He’s pushing himself to his limits, not for fame or followers, but simply to challenge himself. He has no sponsors, no YouTube channel, and no social media. He’s doing it purely for the journey.

As he couldn’t find accommodation for tonight, we were happy to offer him a bed for the night. After several days of sleeping in a tent, he’ll finally get a good night’s rest before setting off again early tomorrow morning.

If you happen to see Benjamin on the road, give him a wave or a few words of encouragement. What he’s doing is something quite special, and it’s becoming all too rare these days. ❤️

It's been a while since our last post... and as you can see, we've been very busy. 😊

Here are just a few of the jobs we've finished recently:
• custom chair covers
• made-to-measure curtains for a glamping pod
• dress alterations and repairs
• a completely custom-made dress
• children's clothes repairs
• and even turning several small table runners into one large table runner.

Thank you to everyone who keeps supporting our small workshop. ❤️

Holiday notice:
Ballagh Stitches will be closed from 19th July until 28th July.

Because of this, we can only accept new jobs next week with a minimum 2-week turnaround.

If your order is already finished, or will be finished next week, please collect it before 19th July or after 28th July.
