OUT OF THE BLUE || • One of this season’s most beautiful colour trends, brought to life in a soft, luminous sky blue, evoking lightness, grace, and quiet sophistication. This beautiful design has found its way to The Stables in Birr, Co. Offaly •||

This is the Ortigia Hat.

A medium saucer disc with a flat brim and button crown, hand-blocked in exquisite sky blue sinamay straw. It is delicately adorned with two graceful sky blue goose feathers, beautifully arranged to create height and movement. Each feather stem is meticulously hand wrapped and finished with fine silk cord for an elegant and refined touch. The design is further enhanced with a delicate cluster of pearls, faceted crystal beads and soft blue glass beads, adding subtle sparkle, texture and dimension while perfectly complementing the ethereal colour palette.

The piece is finished with a refined combination of lighter sky blue petersham ribbon and fine straw braid, forming an elegant hatband that adds subtle texture and distinction.

It is secured with millinery elastic for a comfortable and discreet fit.

This is the Trento headpiece.

A medium-sized domed button base with an angular edge, made of hand-blocked buckram and covered with light gold fabric from Helen McAlinden’s collection.

It is decorated with two satin and chiffon roses, loops of n**e crinoline, and small clusters of hand-sewn pearls and beads in matching tones.
The design is finished with delicate fillers of n**e veiling.

This little beauty is very lightweight, entirely hand-sewn, lined with lavish sand satin, and secured to the head with millinery elastic for a comfortable fit.

BE BOLD AND WEAR A BOW 💙 || Turn heads with this outstanding new headpiece, part of our Bow Edition design range. ||

This is the Portofino Pillbox Hat.

A beautiful angular pillbox hat base made of hand-blocked buckram, covered with the softest white leatherette.

It is trimmed with two oversized gravity-defying bows, one also made in the same white leatherette as the base, while the bow at the front is crafted in Liberty Fabric 100% Silk Crepe de Chine, showcasing the Stripe & Bow print. Inspired by the extravagant bows used to accessorise Regency dresses, Bustle & Bow was hand-painted in soft gouache by the Liberty design studio. These oversized, three-dimensional bow illustrations hint at the rich cloth, intricate frills, and furbelows typical of the Regency style.

The two bows are attached to the base with a flourish of white veil and a cluster of crystal beads and pearls in matching tones.

The embellishment is finished with a delicate white braided trim around the edge of the hat base, adding an elegant and refined finishing touch.

The Portofino headpiece is very lightweight, entirely hand-sewn, lined with lavish blue satin, and secured to the head with millinery elastic for a comfortable fit.

A medium asymmetrical angular perching pillbox hat, hand-blocked in buckram and covered with one of Helen McAlinden’s exquisite black rose-detailed tulle fabrics, creating a beautifully textured and sculptural finish.

The design is completed with four handmade black crinoline pods gracefully attached to a single twisted black quill placed at the side of the hat base.

Lightweight and ethereal, this textured layer adds depth and quiet refinement to the overall design.

CIAO PUGLIA || • Where craftsmanship meets air and light.
Inspired by the warmth, textures, and effortless elegance of Southern Italy, the Puglia Hat is a sculptural couture piece designed to feel almost weightless. • ||

This is the Puglia Hat

A large perching hat featuring a round crown hand-blocked in buckram, covered first in a layer of soft sand-coloured satin and then overlaid with hand-crocheted Paper Ra Ra Raffia by Wool and the Gang a beautiful biodegradable and vegan wood-fibre yarn that is exceptionally lightweight, water-repellent, and quick to dry if lightly splashed.

The dramatic floating brim is created in an open-weave lattice straw, finished with a binding edge entirely hand-crocheted in matching Paper Ra Ra Raffia to beautifully complement the crown.

The brim is suspended from the base with an internal millinery wire structure carefully covered in beige leather and paper, gently curved downward to create the illusion that the brim is floating effortlessly around the wearer.

This outstanding couture hat is fully lined in soft sand-coloured satin and finished with a delicate braided edge trim.
Secured with a double millinery elastic for comfort and stability, the Puglia Hat is entirely hand-sewn and hand-crocheted. Wonderfully lightweight and exceptionally easy to wear, it looks extraordinary from every angle.

THE PERFECT NIGHTFALL… LIGHT PLUM SKY WITH SILVER STARS!! || • A beautiful colour combination for this Mother of the Groom custom-designed hat • ||

A beautiful bespoke headpiece, ordered by my lovely customer, Collette Haynes from Ballinasloe, specially created to complement her gorgeous Lizzabella dress from My Fair Lady boutique and her silver accessories.
Collette attended her son’s wedding on the 4th of April 2026 at the County Arms Hotel in Birr, Co. Offaly.

This is the Tropea headpiece.

A medium disc, hand-blocked in a rich plum sinamay straw, delicately adorned with hand-sewn rhinestones along the front edge. The piece is finished with a sculptural plum feather mount at the back, echoing the tones of Collette’s dress, and attached to the base with clusters of hand-sewn beads, pearls, and rhinestones in varying shades of plum, purple, pink, and clear tones.

This truly feminine headpiece sits gracefully on a fine metal headband, covered in light brown satin, beautifully matching Collette’s hair colour.
