🎉 Mallow Family Fun Day – Everyone Welcome! 🎉

Looking for a fun afternoon out with the family? Come along to the Mallow Family Fun Day on:

📅 Wednesday, 15th July
🕛 12:00pm – 2:00pm
📍 Mallow Youth Centre, New Road, Mallow (P51 XEX9)

This fantastic FREE community event is being organised by the Local Authority Integration Team (LAIT) in partnership with local agencies to bring families together, celebrate diversity, and promote community inclusion. ❤️

There will be plenty to enjoy, including:

🎭 Face Painting
🥁 African Drumming
⚽ Sports & Games
🎈 Family Entertainment
👮 Garda & 🚒 Fire Service Displays
🎶 Performance by One Town One Voice Choir

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

Not a sight you'd see every day.
On Tuesday 23rd June we had a lovely trip to Nano Nagle Place Cork.
We were well looked after by Garda Nicole and we were all on our best behaviour I promise.
Thanks Nicole for looking after us and bringing us all home safely.
If you ever want a place to visit to relax and have beautiful food then take a trip to Nano Nagle Place.
We found the fresh organic food from Patrick Frankel was as delicious as it is at home.

What very sad news.
We have lost a dear friend and one of those rare people that always put a smile on your face and brightened up a room every time she walked through it.
Kathleen we will miss your witty contributions to our group, that winning smile and that naughty laugh that meant to much to us all.
To Kathleen's family, extended family, neighbours and friends we offer our deepest condolences.
We were priviledged to share precious time with Kathleen and we will cherish her memory and are thankful for her true friendship.

What a fantastic afternoon we enjoyed today.
We had the most amazing afternoon tea celebration with a full house to enjoy time together and to relax in the knowledge that friends really are the best.
Nothing happens without hard work behind the scenes.
Thanks to Tony, our amazing CE worker who set up the Hall in the Presentation Support Centre Doneraile CLG .
Our own members really came to the fore when asked. They never fail to impress.
Thanks Betty O' Rourke and Marie Hallahan and Lisa Lynch for their great help. Thanks to MaryAnn Enright and Mary O' Connell for their wonderful baking.
Thanks to everyone who turned up to make it a memorable afternoon.
We ended up with a fabulous sing song with Sean.
And now for the really really massive thanks. Clearing up is always a chore and behind the scenes, while we were relaxed, Pamela Hallahan and Caoifhinn washed a dried copious amounts of cups, saucers and plates with the great help of Mary Carroll.

Tomorrow we will have an afternoon of good food, good company and a sing song.
The good China cups will get an airing and we have lovely volunteers preparing both savoury and sweet nicetities.
