“My dress has detail. Can I still wear a lace veil?”

It’s one of the questions we hear most often in the styling studio.

The answer is usually yes.

The key isn’t avoiding detail altogether. It’s understanding where the detail sits and how the veil works with the gown as a whole.

For this dress, the bodice already creates beautiful texture and movement. Rather than competing with it, we’ve chosen a veil that complements the silhouette and adds softness without taking attention away from the gown.

It’s also why we customise the length of our veils. The same veil can fall very differently depending on the silhouette, train and proportions of the gown. Small adjustments in length can completely change the overall balance of a look.

It’s less about choosing a plain veil or a lace veil, and more about choosing the right veil.

Every dress tells a different story, which is why styling is never one-size-fits-all.
