Father's day gratitude 🌸💞
I am glad to have the most funny, lovable and cuddly man, as my dad. The person who might not be most vocal about his own feelings and conflicts but always makes sure to let us know that we are most loved. A person who is an instant hit with everybody. A charmer, a show-stealer and above all the best human being.
Of all the innumerable memories that you’ve made for us, I find myself harking back to the time when we visit any amusement park and you, me and Sukhman always go on the rides, while mom stands there holding our stuff. I feel happy that at least we got to enjoy these adventures with one of you. You raised our appetite for not only adventure but also perfection and excellence. I have always been in awe of the man that you’re, self-made yet humble and grounded. One of the most helpful people, and for people who don’t know my over-courteous nature is also what I have inherited from him. As mom calls me, I think I am spitting image of you (In most ways, don’t worry I have both of yours best qualities- How could somebody be as perfect? :P)
I thank you and mom for always having our backs. We are able to do what we do, because you have taught us to fight for our rights, have our individual choices and to be able to stand by them. In a world unfair, you taught us how not to play dirty and emerge victorious.
I want to say today, I am just as proud of you as you’re of me. And I am blessed to have the most amazing man as my first love. As they say “A father is a daughter’s first love and a son’s first hero.” And you truly are both to me.
Happy Father’s Day, adorable! 😘♥️
Oodles of love and warmth,
Your sincere daughter (you know why),
