When the boundary between the gilded frame and the tailored silhouette dissolves, fashion ascends into its highest form: a living, breathing gallery. For the modern maximalist, the true art isn’t just found in the final reveal, but in the hundreds of silent, soulful hours where the needle acts as a brush and every hand-stitched bead serves as a stroke of kaleidoscopic genius.

This is storytelling through styling, a romanticized reimagining of traditional Indian handicrafts into rare, sculptural narratives that invite the wearer to be more than a spectator. In the spirit of “Fashion is Art,” we celebrate the meticulous pulse of the craft, ensuring the cultural observer feels artistically seen, emotionally alive, and draped in a masterpiece destined for a permanent place in a collector’s wardrobe.

Happy Holi

How many colours are enough !

How many does it take to create joy !

As we move from the quiet poetry of February into the unapologetic vibrance of Holi, I am reminded that colour is never just pigment. It is emotion, memory, intention.

Before any ensemble becomes what you see on the runway, it begins here-in swatches, in hesitation, in dialogue.

From choosing the fiftieth colour or letting lavender sit beside red, allowing green to breathe against black, it is rarely instinct alone. It is courage, It is meditation, It is trust.

Holi is more than celebration. It is renewal, equality, divine love a reminder that colour only finds meaning when we choose to live it.

In my world, colour is not decoration.
It is hope, layered patiently until joy feels inevitable.

In the image showing our Drawing board for various swatches of many collections. My eternal mood board of joy.

Hymn of Joy at India Design 2026 ✨

Why Kamadhenu?
Why joy?
Why this explosion of colour?

Because sometimes the most powerful symbols are the ones we see every day and forget to truly notice.

Kamadhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow of Indian mythology, has always been a symbol of abundance. But for me, abundance is not excess. It is empathy. It is coexistence. It is the courage to choose colour in a world that often feels divided.

Through this installation, I translate mythology into a living, breathing language of today. Craft meets cosmos. Faith meets future. Tradition meets play. Joy here is not decoration it is resistance. It is healing. It is design in its most human form.

At a time when the world carries anxiety and fatigue, Hymn of Joy becomes my quiet cosmic prayer for peace, for harmony, for a more generous tomorrow.

Color is my obsession. My devotion. My unrest.
Once you truly begin to see colour you can never unsee it.

And perhaps, once we begin to truly see each other we can never go back either. 🌸🐄✨
