4 years I blamed me for being better than my then “other half”. 4 years I dimed my light so that the “in laws”don’t feel small at their only child’s inability to emote ,care, protect and be adult .4 years I heard to the anecdotes of pride about my MIL’s so called mute son.It’s so easy for women to decimate themselves and feel guilty for making more and being better than their spouses but gratitude is a virtue,being man is another.Finally when you pull the plug your shine radiates.

This FIFA Worldcup 2026 has taught the world resilience , great come backs , focus , the power of consistency as opposed to strength , the might of the mind ,the irrelevancy of age ,again the world cheering together even though the dialects are esoteric yet the vigour is unanimous and above all the spirit ,bouncebackability,self discipline ,ingenuity and grace of a great sportsman and the vulnerability they hold back till they reach the end game .
Life is always what we want it to be ,yes sometimes there are the speed breakers but it’s the determination and inner strength that can create a GOAL in the oddest of deterrence .
