The mehndi is still drying and she already looks like the best-dressed person at the function.

This sage organza was painted with tiny white and yellow florals — scattered the way real flowers fall, not arranged. Priya took two days on this one, working without a stencil, letting the blooms find their own place on the fabric.

This grey organza was painted over three days — white chrysanthemum motifs that seem to grow out of the fabric rather than sit on it. Up close, you can see where each petal was placed without a stencil. That's the part that doesn't translate in a photograph.
