Jodhpur is home. It’s where Saroj Collection actually began. So exhibiting here, in front of our own city, for the very first time — should’ve felt easy. It didn’t. It felt bigger, somehow.

What if the people who know us best didn’t show up?

You did — and the stall barely had a quiet moment for two days straight. Between the rush and the racks, there were still these little pauses — someone taking their time with a dupatta, a quiet “yeh perfect hai,” a few of you coming back on day 2 just to say hi again. Busy on the outside, warm underneath. That’s the only way we can describe it.

For a hometown debut, this is more than we hoped for.
