Mustard is an incredibly unique hue of great intrigue and distinction. It energises the mind and body. As a warm colour, it increases positive emotions and feelings of optimism. Those who wear mustard are seen as bold and individualistic. This saree is sure to spice up your saree collection.

Thanks and a very happy birthday Neepa, it was indeed a fun day shooting with you!

We’re having fun shooting and modelling over these rainy days.

Here, Tejal is wearing one of our fav colours. Teal – it is somewhat unconventional, someone who likes teal appreciates those things that are a bit different. They value their uniqueness and they don’t wish to just fit in with the crowd.

Along with the fresh green shades this combination will surely energize your mood.

‘Badi wali kangri’ is what we call this block.

These are repeat patterns with peaks on the top part of the design- depicting mountains, pine trees or temple roofs. The smaller ones are commonly used on borders, while the bigger ones are usually printed at the very end of the saree or dupatta pallu.

Tussar, a heritage silk, skilfully woven by master craftsmen is one of the most loved silk fabrics of India. Its warm look and soft lustre adds richness and grace when draped.

Other handloom fabrics that we currently love are the maheshwaris, linens and khadi cotton with jamdani buttis.

As conscious designers, our choice of using hand woven and printing techniques is central to our work. These crafts add an emotional value to the fabrics. Every piece goes through many hands before reaching a consumer. We believe when a person chooses to buy our fabric, she is indirectly contributing to everyone involved in the process.

Your love and appreciation is what keeps us going. And we are deeply grateful for that… thank you!

Hi!!! I’m Niketa, lucky to say that I love what I do and do what I love!
A career in design was a natural choice for me. Just like my mom, not only am I intrigued by colour and pattern, but the process as well.

After a short stint as a graphic designer, I eventually joined her excited to have all the freedom to experiment and explore. New fabrics, mixing colours, prints, textures it was a whole new education. Later, in 2010, I went on to pursue my Masters in Textile Design, from the University of the Arts, London where I was introduced to sustainability in fashion. It strengthened my belief in our work as it was always rooted in that paradigm.
Besides work, I love to chill with my two beautiful nieces and have an amazing set of friends. Not much of a reader, I love to cook and travel - always with my trusty camera!
