there is been increasing demand for automation for textile machineries in early 1990s. this was mainly to improve quality of fabric to support growing textile exports. as a stepping stone, the pus button system and infrared warp-stop motion were introduced for surat textile industry by a company systems and control now known as STAR(surat textile automation research) infrared warp-stop motion was introduced first time for the Indian textile industry in 1995 the same company.

(2). designed with state of the art infrared sensor technology that uses modulated infrared bandwith ranges from 25khz to 40khz designed to detect up to ninety nano-meters wave length light.

(3).designed with low power digital technology that consumes less power and saves electricity.
