Go Rewise goes the extra mile in the fight against plastic pollution by transforming plastic waste into high value products through processes engineered to be sustainable & eco-conscious

A used plastic bottle can be recycled into rPET flakes, chips, and yarn. At Go Rewise, post-consumer bottles are processed into bottle-grade and textile-grade materials, supplying both packaging and textile manufacturers with products made from the same recovered material.

Recycled polyester is opening up new possibilities for textile manufacturing

As textile applications become more specialised, material selection increasingly depends on the performance and functional demands of the finished product. This creates opportunities for recycled polyester across a wider range of applications, where consistency, processing capabilities, and end-use requirements all play a role in determining its suitability.

At Go Rewise, our textile-grade rPET chips and 100% recycled FDY give manufacturers access to recycled polyester materials for fabrics, apparel, and specialised textile applications. As demand evolves, the ability to match material specifications with application requirements becomes an important consideration for manufacturers looking to incorporate recycled content into their product range.

EPR readiness begins well before reporting. It is reflected in how an organisation understands its regulatory obligations, manages packaging data, establishes recovery and recycling systems, maintains traceable documentation, and reviews performance over time.

Each of these capabilities contributes to a stronger compliance framework and supports informed decision-making as regulatory expectations continue to evolve.

Use this scorecard as a practical way to assess your organisation’s current EPR readiness. The results can help identify strengths, highlight areas for improvement, and guide the next steps in strengthening your programme.

How did your organisation score? Share your EPR readiness score in the comments, or tell us which capability presents the greatest challenge for your organisation.

Plastic bottles supplied 97% of the recycled polyester produced globally in 2025, according to Textile Exchange. Recovered bottle plastic can be transformed into textile yarn for clothing and home textiles, linking recycling to the products we use every day.

Go Rewise recycles recovered PET into textile-grade rPET chips and fully drawn yarn, offering manufacturers recycled material options for fabric production while helping reduce reliance on virgin resources. This World Sustainability Day, remember that responsible disposal matters. Keeping plastic bottles in the recycling stream helps recover materials for future use.

A PET bottle’s journey doesn’t have to end when it’s discarded. Once collected, bottles are sorted to separate PET from other waste and then cleaned to remove dirt and residue.

These steps help prepare the recovered PET for further processing into rPET, giving discarded bottles another opportunity to become useful material for new products.

Quality rPET starts well before the recycling line with the bottles we source and the people who sort them.

During a recent audit at one of our PET waste aggregator partners, our team assessed bottle quality, sorting practices and working conditions. These assessments help us understand feedstock suitability and the sorting and washing needed before further processing. Alongside supplier assessments, we also train suppliers and sorting teams to identify different plastics and segregate them correctly-helping improve PET feedstock quality at the source.

At Go Rewise, supplier engagement combines audits with practical training to strengthen material understanding and sorting at the source, supporting our quality-control efforts throughout recycling

A cleaner material cycle begins with how a PET bottle is handled after use. Where it is disposed of, how it is sorted, and whether it reaches the collection stream all influence whether that material can be recovered and recycled. Community cleanup efforts strengthen this process by bringing discarded plastic into organised collection.

At Go Rewise, recovered PET goes through sorting, washing, and processing before being converted into rPET for new applications. “From Clean Plates to Clean Cities” reflects the connection between everyday disposal habits and the recycling process, where responsible handling helps keep more PET in circulation and ready for its next use.

Sustainability extends across the value chain. At Go Rewise, we help brands meet their EPR requirements through rPET while also incorporating recycled materials into our own operations. This approach reflects a broader commitment to making recycled PET part of how we do business, not just what we supply.

What carries our rPET matters, too.

Sustainability extends across the value chain. At Go Rewise, we help brands meet their EPR requirements through rPET while also incorporating recycled materials into our own operations

Our rPET chips now ship in jumbo bags made with recycled PET - a practical step towards making circularity part of everyday operations, from the product inside to the bag that carries it.

Because our commitment to recycled PET goes beyond what we supply. It’s part of how we do business.
