ATELIER A IS A HOUSE
> It is a bright space dedicated to art, creativity and culture. It is an authentic and comfortable house/studio in which to produce, exhibit and promote art and design, a place to hold workshops, seminars, meetings and concerts, and where you can live, with six permanent beds, or just stop in for a visit. rs a residential opportunity for artists, from all over Europe, offering the ambiance of a quaint village as a place of reflection, research and sharing. In exchange for accommodation at Atelier, usually one week or more, artists share their process with the town and community. During this time Atelier becomes their own home, where they are free to create their work and interact with the area, the people, the environment. The opportunity to exhibit their work at Atelier and within the collective exhibition which is held annually at the Castle in town is available to all artists. IT IS A REALITY
> Atelier A, as an artist’s residence, began in 2012, but today it is also a multidisciplinary creative laboratory: graphic design studio and a workshop for crafting, seamstry and teatrical set design. Additionally, we organize workshops in papier-mache and creative sewing, using recycled remnants to create artiginal works of art. IN APRICALE
> A panoramic medieval village tucked away in the mountain region of Western Liguria, situated at 300 metres above sea level, surrounded by stunning nature and only 10 km away from the seaside (www.apricale.org). In the centre of the village, in one of the many old cobbled alleyways, you can find the Atelier A. All is immersed in the magic atmosphere of the place, surrounded by silence and by the lush and wild forests. Here nature is all-encompassing, the stressful rhythyms of the city are forgotten and amongst Apricale’s inhabitants, sharing and conviviality are a way of life.

L'ATELIER A È UNA CASA
> E’ un luminoso spazio dedicato all'arte, alla creatività e alla cultura. Un’autentica e accogliente casa-laboratorio nella quale si produce, si espone e si promuove l’arte e il design, dove si svolgono workshop, seminari, incontri e concerti, e nella quale é possibile vivere, con i suoi sei posti letto permanenti, oppure soltanto visitare.
È UNA RESIDENZA ARTISTICA
> L'Atelier A promuove un progetto residenziale per artisti, provenienti da tutta Italia e dall'estero, che valorizza il caratteristico borgo come luogo di riflessione, ricerca, elaborazione e condivisione. In cambio dell’ospitalità dell'Atelier, in genere una o più settimane, gli artisti condividono il proprio percorso artistico con il luogo e la comunità. Per quel periodo l'Atelier diventa la loro vera e propria casa, dove sono liberi di produrre le loro opere e interagire con il luogo, le persone, la natura. E' prevista la possibilità di esporre il proprio lavoro in Atelier e all'interno della collettiva che si tiene annualmente nel Castello del paese.
È UNA REALTÀ
> L'Atelier A, come Residenza Artistica, esiste dal 2012, ma oggi é anche laboratorio creativo multidisciplinare: studio di progettazione grafica, comunicazione visiva e laboratorio di artigianato artistico, sartoriale, scenografico. Ci occupiamo di design editoriale, progettazione di marchi, immagine coordinata, segnaletica e comunicazione sociale. Inoltre realizziamo opere di artigianato artistico, dalla sartoria al riciclo, organizzando workshop di cartapesta e cucito creativo. AD APRICALE
> Un borgo medioevale nell'entroterra ligure di ponente tra i più caratteristici d’Italia, situato a 300 metri di altezza in aperta campagna, a soli 10km dal mare (www.apricale.org). Nel centro del paese, nei suoi antichi vicoli, l’Atelier A é immerso nella magica atmosfera medievale del posto, al di fuori, solo il silenzio e il verde dei boschi, ancora selvaggi e rigogliosi. Qui la natura è sovrana, i ritmi della città sono lontani, e la convivialità tra le persone un’esigenza dei suoi abitanti.
