A multicultural and multilingual child of Iranian origin, Porscia Yeganeh® had the fortune to grow amidst diverse sources of cultural inspirations. Having lived in the Middle East, Turkey, Greece and Canada, Yeganeh finally established herself in one of the fashion capitals of the world, Italy. Based on her cosmopolitan lifestyle, the collection represents contemporary boldness, global art and culture, as well as PORSCIA YEGANEH®'s unique, niche identity. As a young as seven years old, while living in Greece, Yeganeh® instinctively sensed a need to rebel against mainstream apparel market and created her own fashion line. Watching her highly skilled mother, Yeganeh taught herself how to use a sewing machine and stitch by hand. This experience advanced into a distinctive way of stitching her garments inside-out with colorful threads in a method called “topstitching.”
By early 2009, an unauthorized book containing Porscia® Yeganeh®’s biography was published and sold by Amazon . Yeganeh® garnered numerous honors from fashion experts, retailers and magazines around the world; from North America, to Italy, Dubai, Iran, and China and begun to be noticed at the Red Carpet Film Festivals, The LEO Film Awards, Miss World Canada and several other events. In 2014, Yeganeh® had already strategically started her branding in Dubai by dressing the hostesses at the Arab Luxury World Conference and at the internationally known Effie Awards MENA (Middle East, North Africa) with her Roman-inspired royalty dresses. Now an important member of the international jet-set élite community, Yeganeh® travels worldwide to consult with private clients to design a one-and-only niche garment for each of her special customers. The design inspiration possesses a distinctive character: feminine but crafted for an independent woman who knows fashion and trends but reinterprets them in her own personal way, distancing herself from the mainstream.
