KEA Studio Architecture and Interior Design WHAT DO I DO

I create homes. I play with spaces, different areas, shapes, materials and fabrics. That is what keeps me going.

I design everything from concept to technical details in order for you to be able to accomplish every little detail according to the 3D images. I believe that each person is unique, therefore their apartment, house or just a simple corner of it should reflect that. The meaning of success is different for everyone. For me success is when the owner of something I created feels at home and fulfilled with what we achieved. I also like to do research. About all sorts of topics. And write about it. Getting familiar with new technologies, materials and new designs is important for every architect, since innovation sometimes comes from inspiration gathered from around the globe. HOW CAN I HELP YOU

If you have an empty or maybe just an old apartment that needs a fresh new look, I am the one to call. Check out some of the examples listed:

Scavolini - When the laundry room becomes part of the design

What stands out in these interiors is the idea of treating the laundry area as an integrated part of the home, rather than a separate, purely functional utility space.

From a furniture-design perspective, the real innovation is not simply hiding the washing machine. It is combining storage, laundry appliances, storage functions and architectural detailing into one coherent system.

1. The design features worth noticing

• integrated appliances behind cabinet doors
The washing machine and dryer sit beneath a continuous worktop, with matching doors concealing the appliances when not in use.
The room maintains a clean, furniture-like appearance, while the worktop creates a useful surface for folding laundry. It also makes the space feel less like a conventional utility room.

2. Dressing-room storage with integrated lighting

• open shelving, closed cabinets, hanging rails and dedicated spaces for folded textiles are combined within one composition. Vertical LED strips illuminate the shelves and emphasise the warm wood finish.
Everything is visible and accessible, making it easier to organise towels, clothing and accessories. The lighting also improves visibility inside deeper storage compartments. Scavolini's Walk-in Fluida concept offers configurable open and closed modules and integrated lighting.

3. Concealed spaces and architectural continuity

• the full-height wood panels and discreet door detailing allow functional areas to disappear into the surrounding cabinetry. The same material language continues across the kitchen and adjoining spaces.
It creates visual continuity, reduces the impression of clutter and allows the laundry or dressing area to remain discreetly connected to the rest of the home.

4. A coordinated palette of materials

• muted sage-green cabinetry, warm wood, stone-effect surfaces and brushed-metal handles create a restrained, sophisticated interior.

Why connect the laundry room to the kitchen or bathroom?
The real advantage is in how the home works, not just how it looks 🖤

We said we’d come back with a short analysis of the kitchen layouts and details presented at Salone del Mobile this year by — so here it is.

A few things stood out: warmer minimalism, natural materials, integrated lighting, smarter storage and a thoughtful mix of open + closed elements.
From ribbed glass and tactile stone to beautifully organised drawers and accessible display areas — the focus is clearly shifting towards kitchens that are not only beautiful, but designed around how we actually live.

Swipe through the details we found most interesting 🖤

Which one would you bring into your own kitchen?

A YEAR CLOSER TO KITCHENS

Over the past year, I’ve been intentionally looking beyond the aesthetics of kitchen design — into the details, accessories, materials, technical solutions and, most importantly, how everything works together in real life.

A big part of this journey was this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan, where I had the opportunity to explore the major kitchen brands and suppliers first-hand.

Knowing the brands behind the products matters. Understanding what each supplier offers, seeing their details up close and learning how their systems work gives me a much stronger foundation when developing a project — and often sparks ideas I wouldn’t find behind a screen.
Because good kitchen design is not only about how it looks.

It’s about knowledge, curiosity, functionality — and the details that make a space truly work for the people who use it.

What does an interiors architect actually do?

At KEA Studio every project begins with a conversation. We listen to how you live, understand what you need, draw out ideas you may not yet know how to express and translate them into coherent design language.

The most successful interiors aren't the ones that simply look beautiful.
They are the ones that make sense for the people who are in them.

Go through the simplified process in the carousel and let us know if you have questions ✨️

Behind every space I create, there is a person, a story and a way of living.
After 15+ years doing interior design, this is still what inspires me most - creating spaces that feel personal, timeless and completely You.

BONALDO - Architecture of Objects

This year celebrated 90 years of Italian design with a collection that goes beyond furniture — transforming objects into architecture for contemporary living.

Form, proportion and material become the protagonists, creating pieces with a strong sculptural presence yet an unmistakable sense of comfort.

From the enveloping Amour armchair by Fabrice Berrux to the expressive asymmetry of the Flatiron table by Mauro Lipparini, the new 26 Collection explores how furniture can define, structure and elevate a space.

The collection continues across dining, living and sleeping spaces with designs such as Alpha, Grant, Oshi and Holden — each balancing architectural clarity with softness, functionality and Italian craftsmanship.

Italian design, reimagined as a way of living.
