My heartfelt thanks go out to each and every one of you who helped make this event possible.

In this photo, you see , one of the beautiful and enterprising souls who helped set all of this in motion.

But there are dozens and dozens of people—truly, dozens—who devoted an entire year to bringing this vision to life.

I would also like to mention a few others who were absolutely essential— , , and —but in truth, I hardly know where to begin when it comes to expressing my gratitude.

I will speak more about the gown, the jewels, and the hairstyle in the coming posts.
For now, I should note that the gown you see here is still a work in progress.
I am currently refining it, correcting a few imperfections and completing the handmade passementerie.

For now, this is simply a heartfelt thank you, on behalf of myself and our entire Association.

Let’s talk about the blue dress I wore at Villa Campolieto.

At the very last minute, we decided to shoot some videos for the big event we’re preparing for April 18th.
The problem? I had nothing to wear. I hadn’t made a new dress in a long time, and the others were stained.

The dry cleaner would have taken seven days.
Making a new dress from scratch, four hands of course, would take three evenings.

Three evenings, finishing at 2 a.m. but those three evenings were all I had.

Of course it’s not perfect, and I’m still working on it now, fixing and finishing details.
But once upon a time, I would have been far less forgiving with myself. I would have refused to be photographed or filmed in something I didn’t consider good enough.

This time, instead, I’m proud of it.
After all, performing small miracles isn’t for everyone 😆🧚
