The Adventures of Brave Little Nini has always been a collaborative project, with loved ones eager to provide feedback.

Dear friend and artist, , suggested how Nini should be drawn darker in our sequel to reflect my sister Nina’s morena beauty. Indeed, we should celebrate all skin types, especially our own!

Our talented illustrator set out revising our girl, Papa, and Mama accordingly. She even drew them all new outfits!

A huge thank you to my brother-in-law, Ryx Canoy , who sponsored the Maria Corrina Canoy Feeding Program and Storytelling Session at the Pasay Sports Complex today, August 3,2023. 55 street children ate and listened to our brave girl’s adventure.

Without a doubt, my sister, Nina (whom the above program is named after), is all smiles from Heaven! She would have turned 44 years old on August 4.

When Nina was alive, she often dedicated her time and energy towards charitable endeavors such as cooking and preparing meal packs for inmates.

Advanced Happy Birthday to my dear sister, Nina, and to our brave girl, Nini!
