TANAKAが掲げるのは、「これまでの100年と、これからの100年を紡ぐ衣服」。
ブランドの原点であるデニムを軸に、受け継がれてきた技術と新しい発想を結び、次の時代の衣服をつくり続けてきました。
TANAKA ATELIER STORE は、完成した衣服を販売するだけの場所ではありません。
コレクションの構想が生まれ、職人たちとの対話を重ね、衣服がかたちになり、その背景とともにお客さまへ手渡されていく。
TANAKAのものづくりのすべてがつながる、新しい活動拠点です。
TANAKAの原点には、デザイナーが幼い頃に見た、洋画家である父のブルージーンズ。
そこに見いだした自由は、ニューヨークでの経験、日本の職人たちとの出会いを経て、現在のTANAKA ATELIER STOREへとつながっています。
建物の1階はスタジオ、2階はTANAKAの衣服を実際に手に取ることのできるアトリエストア、3階は創作とものづくりを深めるためのアトリエです。
休日にはアトリエを開放する機会も設け、つくり手と着る人、過去から受け継いだ技術とこれからの表現が出会い、次のクリエイションが生まれる場所を目指します。

TANAKA creates clothing that connects the past 100 years with the next 100 years. Starting with denim, the brand combines traditional craftsmanship with new ideas to create clothing for the future.
TANAKA ATELIER STORE is more than a place to shop. It is a new creative space where ideas are born, clothes are made, and the stories behind them are shared.
The building has a studio on the first floor, the atelier store on the second floor, and an atelier on the third floor for creative work and craftsmanship.
At this new space, makers and wearers can meet, traditional techniques can connect with new ideas, and new creations can begin.
