みかんだけじゃない八幡浜
そろそろ出始めてきました、富士柿
八幡浜以外では栽培されてないんじゃないかな。
特筆すべくは、何といってもそのサイズ。
ソフトボールぐらいあります。柿だけどビックリするぐらい大きいです。しかも種はほとんどないので、食べやすく、固い時は程よい甘さ、追熟させると柔らかさと甘さが増すという、まさに一粒で二度美味しい。
今からが旬になるので、見かけたら是非食べて頂きたい八幡浜特産の逸品です。
Have you ever heard of Fuji-gaki? Fuji-gaki was named after the shape of Mt. Fuji, gaki(=kaki) means persimmon In Japanese.
They are like the local specialty, and you can find this only in Yawatahama. I don't know the reason, but they are not grown in other place.
Not only the size but the texture and taste is amazing! If you have a chance to try them, don’t miss it.
