Works 07. [ Event Space ] Facade & Logo design.

ビルの地下に位置する、ギャラリーやイベントなど、情報発信施設のエントランス、サインのデザイン。
地殻変動により、地表に現れたエアーズロックのイメージから生まれた施設名そのままに、エイジングによる時間の風合いと、ブラックステンレスのシャープなラインが、重厚感のある濃密な空気感をつくりだしている。

[ English ]
Designing of the entrance and the sign of the facility that is located in the basement of the building. It’s for information transmissions such as gallery, event space and more.
Uluru, its name comes from the image that Ayers rock appeared on the earth’s surface by diastrophism. The designer kept the name’s image and aimed to create dense and stately impressions by using the ageing painting to express the vintage texture as if time passed and shaped lines made of black stainless.

Works 06. [ Design School ] Interior design.

バンタンデザイン研究所札幌校の改修計画。立地は、札幌大通公園沿いの大通りに面している。既存建物は道路に対して二面のガラスファサードとなっているため、外部から眺めた時にあたたかく、流れるようなラインで全体につながりを感じさせる構成としている。ヘアメイククラスの教室は、授業風景そのものがショールーム的な存在となるように、空間全体をオレンジのフレームラインで包み、フレームに沿って鏡が可動することで、空間に躍動感を持たせている。

This project is a renovation of Vantan Design Institute Sapporo branch.
The school faces one of the main streets along Odori park in Sapporo.
The existing building has two glass facades facing the street.
Under the designer’s plan, the view from the outside would be a smooth line that highlights the depth and harmony of the school to create a warm impression.
In the hair-styling and make-up application classroom, the lessons are demonstrated in a manner very similar to an exhibition in a showroom.
The entire classroom is enclosed by an orange frame.
Mirrors are movable along the frame to make the space appear vibrant and lively.
