Billionaire Elon Musk has said that saving money may become unnecessary in the future, predicting a world with “universal high income.” Responding to investor Ray Dalio, Musk argued that poverty will eventually disappear as artificial intelligence and robotics take over work, providing people with all the goods and services they need. He added that in such a future, human jobs would be optional and money could become less relevant.
