💥💥🚨🚨FANTASTIC DECISION!!

The idea of making a ‘marquee’ midfield signing isn’t something the decision-makers at Manchester United are fixated on.

United do have money to spend after the deals for Santos and Tielemans, but they also want to strengthen the left side and add another forward, so there’s no guarantee they’ll spend big on another midfielder.

United have two midfielders through the door now and although the Santos and Tielemans deals progressed quietly, I don’t get the sense the third midfielder is imminent. United have bought themselves time to assess the market.

United had always been planning to sign three midfielders this summer and will continue with that approach after Manuel Ugarte's serious knee injury, with FIFA's compensation scheme meaning they will get around £6.5million as a result of the issue being picked up at the World Cup.

Amad Diallo and Leny Yoro are the two players I'm expecting to take a huge step forward next season.

For Yoro, it'll be his third senior season. For Amad, he's been at Manchester United long enough to fully understand the standards and expectations that come with playing for this club.

Nobody doubts their talent anymore.

Now it's about maturity.

It's about delivering consistently, making the right decisions under pressure, taking responsibility in big moments and becoming players the team can depend on every single week, not just in flashes.

They have to evolve from exciting young talents into genuine leaders on the pitch.

That's the next step in their development. ❤️🔴
