In Ethiopian tradition, to share a table is to say: you belong here.

The Saron table runner was made with that in mind. Woven on a debela cotton base, finished with Bogolan or Baule accents and hand-cut Ethiopian leather tassels, it brings the warmth of that tradition into any home in Nairobi or anywhere across the diaspora.

Understated enough for everyday meals. Generous enough for celebrations.

Each runner is made slowly, with materials sourced across Africa. This is not décor. It is hospitality, made physical.

Four scarves. One fabric. Endless ways to wear it.

The gabi has been hand-loomed in Ethiopia for generations - spun from cotton, woven by hand, and worn across every season of life. It's been a morning wrap, a prayer shawl, a baby's first blanket, a grandmother's everyday comfort. It doesn't belong to one occasion. It belongs to all of them.

We carry it in four forms:
The Atalfim - slim, structured, and effortless. Worn draped or tied, it moves with you.
The Zimare - a generous unisex scarf that pairs pure gabi with deep Malian indigo at the ends. Two traditions, one piece.
The Selah - our infinity loop. No beginning, no end. Just warmth and quiet elegance.
The Betsega - the full wrap. Bold in scale, soft in feel. For the days when you want to be completely held by something beautiful.
Breathable enough for every season. Meaningful enough to keep forever.

Which one is yours?

The bell has always been a symbol of gathering. Of joy announced. Of a moment worth marking.

Elle's Bells are handcrafted from warm brass, finished with recycled Ghanaian glass beads, and tied with Ethiopian leather cord. Each one is engraved with a single word - joy - in three languages: English, Kiswahili (Furaha), and Amharic (ደስ).

Because celebration does not belong to one language, one tradition, or one people. It travels and finds you wherever you are.
Whether hung on a tree, a doorway, a gift, or a shelf, these bells carry the sound of East Africa's spirit of togetherness. A small object, holding something much larger.

Bring the sound of joy home. Shop Elle's Bells via the link in bio.

A home should be a sanctuary of stories. The Taleye Throw brings the tactile beauty of Ethiopian craftsmanship into your living space. Inspired by the archaeological history of weaving that has lived in our civilization for over two millennia, the Taleye is a treasure intended to last a lifetime.

The earth has a way of telling stories, and some are meant to be held.

Our heart-shaped brass trays are crafted from heavy-gauge brass - a material chosen for its weight, its permanence, and the way it catches the light in a room. Each piece is hand-engraved with “My Love” in three languages, a subtle, rhythmic reminder of connection tucked into the objects we use every day.

In our homes, hospitality is an act of love. These trays are more than simple catch-alls; they are vessels for the small, precious details of your daily life. Because each piece is forged and finished by hand, no two hearts are exactly alike.

Bring a pulse to your space. A quiet celebration of love, designed to last a lifetime.

The earth has a way of telling stories. Our heart-shaped Bogolan Coasters are crafted using the ancient Bògòlanfini technique from Mali, where hand-spun cotton meets fermented mud and plant dyes. This is art that you can feel-a centuries-old tradition brought to your coffee table.

In our homes, hospitality is an act of love. These coasters, with their striking geometric patterns, are more than functional items; they are symbols of the warmth we share when we gather. Because each piece is handmade by master artisans, no two hearts are exactly alike.

Add a pulse to your space. These treasures from Mali are now available at a special price during our seasonal sale. Visit us in-store or shop online to find a set that speaks to you.

Shaped by tradition, held with intention.

The Berele (ብርሌ) is a vessel deeply rooted in Ethiopian culture - its distinctive form, with a rounded base and slender neck, designed specifically for serving and enjoying tej, the country’s beloved honey wine.

For generations, it has been part of shared tables and celebrations - from quiet gatherings to weddings and tej houses - carrying with it a sense of ritual, connection, and continuity. Its origins trace back centuries, yet it remains just as present today.

More than glass, it is an experience. One that invites you to slow down, to pour, to gather, and to savor.

Because some traditions aren’t just preserved - they are lived.
