The Humphreys Thrift Store is always looking for volunteers to help around the store and give back to our community. If you would like to volunteer, please visit the store and ask for a volunteer application. We appreciate our volunteers!!!

Borrowed Boutique update!

Starting July 1st, there will be a few price changes at the Borrowed Boutique.

✨The good news✨

Hold fees and rental fees will remain the same.

The hold fee is a non-refundable $10 fee that keeps the dress on hold for 2 weeks. If you decide to rent the dress, the $10 hold fee will be applied toward the cost of the dress rental.

Long dress rentals will stay at $35 and short dress rentals will stay at $25. Accessories will also stay at $5.

We will be charging a $10 late fee one week after the return date.

Also, dresses are required to be returned dry cleaned, or customers can choose an added service charge of $35 for Borrowed Boutique to provide the dry cleaning.

Hiring news!

Humphreys Thrift Store is looking for a part-time sales associate to join its team 20-25 hours a week. This hybrid position will include sales associate responsibilities in the thrift store (assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, restocking) and will also lead and manage the HUC Thrift Store’s volunteer program.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role within a small team environment. Some weekend and evening hours will be required.

If you’re interested, please stop by the Thrift Store during store hours (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday) to pick up an application, or email your resume to [email protected].
