This is to inform everyone that the Katugoda cricket ground and pitch are maintained solely through the dedication, hard work, and personal contributions of the players of Katugoda and Nugaduwa. Every month, our players spend their own money and time to maintain this ground, and every six months we prepare and rebuild the pitch. During the rainy season, even our own players avoid using the pitch to protect it.
However, this morning, a group of outsiders entered the ground and caused serious damage to the pitch, leaving it looking like a paddy field. We have clear photos and video evidence of those responsible.
As the village players who have protected and maintained this ground for years, we strongly condemn this irresponsible act. Those responsible must take full responsibility and compensate for the damages caused.
Let it be clearly understood that this ground is for the players of Katugoda and Nugaduwa. However, any players from outside these two villages must obtain prior permission before using the ground. Unauthorized use of this ground will not be tolerated.
Respect the effort. Respect the pitch. Respect the people who sacrifice their time and money to maintain this ground.

කටුගොඩ ක්රිකට් ක්රීඩාංගණය සහ එහි පිච් එක (pitch) නඩත්තු කරනු ලබන්නේ කටුගොඩ සහ නුගදූව ක්රීඩකයින්ගේ කැපවීම, මහන්සිය සහ පෞද්ගලික ධන පරිත්යාගයෙන් පමණක් බව සැමට කාරුණිකව දැනුම් දෙමු. අපගේ ක්රීඩකයින් සෑම මසකම තමන්ගේම මුදල් සහ කාලය වැය කර මෙම ක්රීඩාංගණය නඩත්තු කරන අතර, සෑම මාස හයකට වරක්ම පිච් එක නැවත සකස් කර ප්රතිසංස්කරණය කරනු ලබයි. වැසි කාලයේදී පිච් එක ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් අපේම ක්රීඩකයින් පවා එහි ක්රීඩා කිරීමෙන් වැළකී සිටියි.
කෙසේ වෙතත්, අද උදෑසන පිටතින් පැමිණි පිරිසක් ක්රීඩාංගණයට ඇතුළු වී පිච් එකට දැඩි ලෙස හානි කර ඇති අතර, ඔවුන් එය කුඹුරක් මෙන් විනාශ කර දමා ඇත. මෙයට වගකිවයුතු පුද්ගලයින්ගේ පැහැදිලි ඡායාරූප සහ වීඩියෝ සාක්ෂි අප සතුව ඇත.
වසර ගණනාවක් තිස්සේ මෙම ක්රීඩාංගණය ආරක්ෂා කර නඩත්තු කළ ගමේ ක්රීඩකයින් ලෙස, අප මෙම වගකීම් විරහිත ක්රියාව දැඩි ලෙස හෙළා දකිමු. මෙයට වගකිවයුතු පුද්ගලයින් මෙහි සම්පූර්ණ වගකීම භාරගත යුතු අතර සිදු වූ හානිය වෙනුවෙන් වන්දි ගෙවිය යුතුය.
මෙම ක්රීඩාංගණය කටුගොඩ සහ නුගදූව ක්රීඩකයින් සඳහාම පමණක් වෙන්වූවක් බව පැහැදිලිවම දන්වා සිටිමු නමුත්, මෙම ගම්මාන දෙකෙන් පිටත කිසිදු ක්රීඩකයෙකුට ක්රීඩාංගණය භාවිතා කිරීමට අවශ්ය නම්, ඊට පෙර පූර්ව අවසරයක් ලබාගත යුතුය. අවසරයකින් තොරව මෙම ක්රීඩාංගණය භාවිතා කිරීම කිසිසේත්ම ඉඩ නොදෙනු ඇත.
මහන්සියට ගරු කරන්න. පිච් එකට ගරු කරන්න. මෙම ක්රීඩාංගණය නඩත්තු කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් තමන්ගේ කාලය සහ මුදල් කැප කරන මිනිසුන්ට ගරු කරන්න.
