I’m Lakni Rashadini Liyanage, an entrepreneur trying to colour up my space in my own way, challenging the usual norms in society. I always keep asking the same question again and again. So I challenged myself to follow my dream. I started to learn pattern making and dress designing from grassroot, and by now I can bring the dress in your dreams to reality. I had many sleepless nights, and skipped
meals, as I worked hard keeping myself busy. The support and guidance I received from my teachers, family and friends are immeasurable throughout this journey. I am a graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, with a B.Sc. (Special) Marketing (First Class) degree. I am also a CIMA passed finalist and an AAT passed finalist as well. My academic work which provided me with the overview and the touch of business inspired me to start my own business in the apparel Industry. As such, I am the owner and founder of LARA Fashion, founded in 2019. I gathered relevant knowledge and the right skill set, via investing my time in studying and practising Pattern Making and Fashion Designing under a professional dress designer for two years time. Now I am inviting you all to try LARA Fashion and feel the difference.
