One day last week I opened my laser software and discovered what can only be described as a full-blown CRAFTING TRAGEDY, a digital crime scene, if you will.

About 90% of the files I’ve created and/or customized over COUNTLESS hours have apparently vanished from this earthly realm. Gone. Missing. Evaporated. Just snatched away like they were never mine to begin with, sent off to the crafting afterlife.

These weren’t just files. These were late nights, eye strains, headaches, “just one more edit before bed,” and tiny pieces of me and pieces of my business saved into folders that have now betrayed me.

I have searched everywhere. I’ve checked folders, searched my computer, asked in laser groups, crossed my fingers, sent up prayers and good vibes, and a few threats. I have wandered these digital moors like a grieving Victorian widow hoping for a miracle… and still, nothing.

At this point, I’ve accepted that my files have either ascended to a better place or are sitting somewhere laughing at me. So if you need me, I’ll just be over here rebuilding my entire digital existence one file at a time, powered only by caffeine, spite, and unresolved grief. 😭😭😭 wish me luck!
