I wore black for 35 years straight.

After some serious life shakeups… I found color.
And honestly? It made me happy. It brought me joy.

I always buy white tanks…
and somehow they’re always the last thing I reach for.

Same with white linen shirts.

But last year?
I shocked myself.

I grabbed two white lace tops from Gap Inc.…
and a little baby doll dress.

Who am I? 😂

I will say though…
I do love a crisp white.

Cupcake cosmos 🧁✨

Picked up this little cutie at Ace last week.
🌸🩷🦩🩰🧁
I had taken my mom to pick up her car, we grabbed lunch, and I was going to follow her while she took it for a quick test drive… and she lost me at the light 😂

So naturally… I ended up at Ace.

Came home with baby lavender and a six-pack of these cupcake cosmos, and honestly… no regrets.

There’s just something about them.
Soft, happy, a little whimsical… like tiny blooms of frosting.

Sometimes I make things just for fun… for myself, or as a gift (like this original purple pair started out).

I’ll see something or get an idea and just go for it. No overthinking. No perfect plan. Maybe I’ve got 30 minutes… not enough time to refine it, but enough to create something.

And honestly? I love the imperfections.
I love the creative outlet.
Those quick bursts of making something with my hands.

Then it gets tucked away for a while… until one day I feel that spark again.
Same idea, different headspace. Different season. Maybe a little more patience this time.

And it comes out more thought out… more intentional.

But I’ll always have a soft spot for the rough draft.

Because if I’m being honest…
that’s how I live my life 🤍✨
