A bag that kept me strong.
The bag I almost gave up on — the one I pushed away and told myself “that’s it… it’s not worth it.”
But it surprised me.
It asked me to try again.
And somehow, with a ball of yarn and a little imagination, it became a piece of art.
Maryrose is a reminder to myself:
Don’t stop believing.
Don’t give up.

This bag is so special.
It came from a moment when I truly felt I couldn’t make it… when life felt too heavy, too harsh, like I couldn’t catch a break, not even for a breath of fresh air.
The pain, the loneliness, the weight of everything around me — it all felt like too much at once.
But even in that moment… something shifted.
Stitch by stitch, it started to exist. Slowly, quietly, through everything I was feeling. And what came out of it wasn’t just a bag… it was a piece of survival. A piece of me.
One of a kind.
No other like it.
Because it was created in a moment where I chose to keep going, even when it felt impossible.

Life feels heavy sometimes. Heartbreaks, disappointments, and thoughts I keep inside when I don’t know where to put them.
But then I pick up my hook.
And somehow, everything softens.
With every stitch, I feel a little more whole again. Not because life changes in that moment, but because I do. My hands stay busy while my mind finally gets quiet. Sketches, yarn, ideas — they become my safe place when everything else feels too loud.
I often wish I could stay there longer… just me, my hook, my crochet, my sketches… away from the pain of life.
But maybe it’s not about running away.
Maybe it’s about finding myself in the middle of it all.
And slowly turning what hurts into something I can hold.
