🌟 14.06.2026: Special Olympics Mauritius Training Camp 2026 🌟

Our school was proud to participate in the Special Olympics Mauritius Training Camp, a wonderful initiative that brought together athletes, coaches, and educators for learning, training, health screening, and fellowship. It was an enriching experience that promoted inclusion, teamwork, and the true spirit of the Special Olympics.

We were honoured by the presence of our Manager, Poorasveensingh Bondy, Rashveen Bondy who is also a Board Member of Special Olympics Mauritius. His unwavering commitment and support for inclusive sports and the development of athletes continue to inspire our students and staff.

We also had the distinct privilege of welcoming the Chairperson of SENA, Dr-Veemen K Appadu who generously served as a doctor during the health screening session. Beyond his leadership role, he took the time to personally care for the athletes with kindness, compassion, and dedication. His willingness to serve on the ground, not only as the Chairperson of SENA but also as a caring medical professional, was truly admirable and greatly appreciated by everyone present.

A heartfelt thank you to Special Olympics Mauritius for organising such a meaningful and impactful camp. We are proud to have been part of this inspiring journey and look forward to many more opportunities to empower our students through sport, inclusion, and unity.

In a time where too many young people are being pulled toward drugs and the illusion of easy money, the real answer is skill, discipline, and purpose.

Your talent can create opportunities.

Your skills can create independence. Your mindset can change your future.

Let’s encourage our youth to build, not destroy. 🇲🇺

“Dis”Ability is not inability.

Too often, we define people by limitations instead of possibilities. But true barriers are often created by assumptions, stigma, and the way society chooses to see disability.

It’s time to change the narrative.

Every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, respect, inclusion and not pity or labels.

Let’s create a world where we focus on ability, potential, and humanity first.

Because changing mindsets is where real inclusion begins.

💙 Share this if you believe “disability” should never define someone’s potential.
