Our journey was never perfect, but you came into my life and taught me how to stay grounded, how to love sincerely, and how to see life from a different perspective.
Losing you was more than losing my husband. I lost my best friend, my safe place, my home, and the person I was meant to spend the rest of my life with.
I still feel like a part of me is stuck in those days before everything changed. I may look happy on the outside, and I try my best to be, but when I’m alone, the emptiness is impossible to ignore.
Our home, the places we used to go, the things you bought for me, and even the smallest memories we shared are still here. Everywhere I turn, something reminds me of you.
We were supposed to making new memories, building our home, and growing old together. Instead, I’m learning how to live in a world where you are no longer by my side.
I know you are still somewhere…
just in a different world.
I pray that Allah keeps you in the most beautiful place, surrounds you with His mercy, and, if Allah wills, reunites us again someday.
Some people leave this world, but they never truly leave our hearts.
You will always be a part of me, a part of my story, and a love I will carry for the rest of my life.
