SURIA's primary mission is to preserve an heirloom craft, working closely with local artisans, fresh graduates, freelancers, single mothers/B40, UNCHR refugees and small, local businesses.

We are an aspiring , with an emphasis on empowering communities and fostering positive environmental impact.

Join us for a special collaborative workshop between two textile artists Yann and Intan Suria of which delves into the fascinating world of batik AND natural indigo dyeing.

Date: 23rd March, 2024 (Saturday)
Time: 10am-2pm (4 hours)
Location: Bukit Antarabangsa, Ampang, Selangor
Fee: RM300 with refreshments & halal lunch optional / RM276 without lunch

All materials and tools are provided. Small class with a minimum 5 and maximum of 8 participants.

Join us for a batik colouring workshop and afternoon tea , a stunning restaurant and lifestyle space in the heart of the city. This fun & therapeutic workshop will be hosted by and Intan Suria, the founder of Suria Artisan Batik. Workshop participants will also have the chance to shop from Dia Guild's curation of artisanal fashion.

Saturday, 16 December. 3-5pm

Venue: IF ONLY(Ground floor, Regal House, 1, Jalan U Thant, Taman U Thant, 55000 Kuala Lumpur)

Tickets: RM190/pax for adults, RM150/pax for 12 & under

Batik hoop for adults (hand canting by Suria) is 25X25cm & comes with a canvas tote which is a nice gift idea🙂
