Akudesign started as a fun project between two brothers namely Amirel Amen Anuar and Afiq Afify Anuar, but now Akudesign has become one of the most trusted streetwear brand Malaysia. The meaning of Akudesign means ‘I’ Design. In Malay, AKU means ME. It is a general word that we use daily to communicate. The word DESIGN means developing something from nothing and it represents who we are as a human
being. We are the one who design our life, and because of that Akudesign is born. In 2015, Akudesign launched its very first official concept store, located at the riverside of Melaka City and in 2023, Akudesign launched its second shop known as Akudesign Homegrown, located at the center of Melaka City, Malaysia. Through out the years, Akudesign had also involved in online platform by having its own website. In additon, Akudesign has been selected as a Seller Mall in the largest online selling medium in Malaysia such as Shopee, Lazada & TikTok Shop. Besides online platform, Akudesign also have Authorized Dealers in shopping malls around Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru & Kuching. Akudesign Clothing movement focuses on streetwear products from top to toe by emphasizing the clothing material, design and details of the product itself. We stick to our tagline ‘Wear With Pride’ which we want our customers to feel proud when using our products. Our community consists of people who have creative thinking in the field of street art, graffiti artists, designers, hip hop genre music, skaters and streetwear fans. After more than 14 years in the industry we had learnt and upgrade on many aspects, especially in branding, marketing, business management and retail system. We believe that with the experience we gained over the years, and the support from our loyal supporters known as definitely carry our brand to another level.
