Tavo Stroller Review
Tavo is an amazing lightweight stroller that folds into the small package. This might be among the best travel stroller ever because it fits into the overhead luggage compartment on a plane and is allowed as a carry-on by most airlines. And since it weighs only 5.9kg, you can easily carry it over your shoulder.
Despite the compact size, this is a very sturdy stroller that feels very solid. I was happy to see a very roomy seat with plenty of headroom for a taller child. It also has a deep recline suitable for child from newborn and up to 15kg. Great for long naps and quick diaper changes.
The canopy is a good size and will provide enough protection. While it has small wheels, the maneuverability is outstanding! The Tavo is so narrow, it can go just anywhere. Very convenient when navigating through narrow store aisles and busy city streets. One piece handlebar makes it easy to push with just one hand. The handle bar is not adjustable, but is pretty tall from the ground. The fabric is easily removable and machine washable.
I gave this buggy 5 out of 5 stars because it’s truly an amazing stroller full of great unique features. There is really not much I can complain about which almost never happens.
Features:
- Medium size canopy. The canopy has two medium size panels and a small pop-out sun visor. This is not the biggest canopy, but is a good size for a lightweight stroller. There is also a small peekaboo window in the back.
- Roomy seat. The seat size has pleasantly surprised me. I expected a smaller seat for such a compact stroller. It has a deep recline that is enough for a child to take a comfortable nap. The recline is operated by a strap system.
- Adjustable 5-point harness. It has an adjustable 5 point harness with a center release buckle. The buckle is not too hard to do for parents, but hard for a child to figure out. The shoulder straps are padded for your child’s comfort.
- Small basket. You will be able to fit some baby essentials, or a very small diaper bag. It’s also easy to access from the back and the front.
- Parking brake. There is a pedal in the back between the rear that you step on to activate the brakes. The brake is very easy to unlock.
- Super compact fold. This is the main features of this buggy. You can fold this buggy with just one hand while holding a baby in your hands. How cool is that? The fold is so compact you can even fit into an overhead luggage compartment. This is one of the most compact strollers on the market! Once the Tavo is folded there is an automatic lock that secures it in place.
- Carry strap. There is a carry strap that you can use to throw this baby over your shoulder. Since it weights only 5.9kg, you can easily carry it when traveling.
- Travel bag. INCLUDED! It fits in this tiny little travel bag. It’s hard to believe you have a whole stroller in there.
